CULTURE ET LIBERTÉ

CULTURE ET LIBERTÉ (France) has 15 regional associations all over the country offering a wide range of training programmes. They range from offers to advance vocational orientation against the background of changing working environments to measures for the advancement of social  commitment, environmental awareness and the idea of a united Europe.

Since the 1960s, ARBEIT UND LEBEN has been working with Culture et Liberté in the organisation of Franco-German youth exchanges and, for some years, in the implementation of European mobility projects.

SYDDANSK ERHVERSKOLE (SDE)

SYDDANSK ERHVERSKOLE (SDE) (Denmark) was founded in 2009 as the result of a merger of two formerly independent vocational colleges, has 650 employees and 4,3000 full-time and 16,00 part time students every year. The five key training fields are: technology and communication, construction, specialised technical training, transport and logistics, service sector.

The college for higher education offers classes for the fields of IT and electronics, civil engineering and engineering, energy and sanitation engineering, production, media and communication. Furthermore, SDE offers a number of further education formats for training-on-the-job measures for both the private and public sectors. The key fields are: general management, technical middle management. Training of trainers and teachers, language training courses and various polytechnic disciplines.

ARBEIT UND LEBEN

ARBEIT UND LEBEN (Germany) organises about 8,000 training seminars per year with 300,000 participants, among them about 100 events for young people with the focus on socio-political and vocational orientation in Europe. Within the scope of the Leonardo-da-Vinci mobility programme, we also organise work placements for different target groups in various projects both in Germany and European partner countries.

ARBEIT UND LEBEN is experienced in the coordination of European cooperation projects, the development of further training programmes for tutors and teaching staff and is involved in the development of methods to prove learning achievements acquired non-formally and informally.

ESMOVIA

ESMOVIA (Spain) located in Valencia, is specializing in planning and conducting international mobility projects, i.a. work placements for trainees and young workers. Founded in 2006, ESMOVIA currently has 6 employees who organise work placements in most various sectors.

ESMOVIA is part of the ETN (European Training Network Group), which has a 10-year experience in the field of mobility advancement. Arbeit und Leben and ESMOVIA have been cooperating since the year 2009 to conduct work placements abroad.

FRIEDRICH-LIST-SCHULE

FRIEDRICH-LIST-SCHULE (FLS) (Germany) is a business language college in Berlin and offers various occupational training courses, among them:

  • Foreign-language secretary (multilingual assistant)
  • Foreign-language correspondent

On top of this, there is a vocational school (one year) and classes preparing for occupational training.

Being the "Competence Centre International Relations“ , FLS provides a comprehensive advisory service for all colleges in Berlin regarding the EU education programmes and the procurement of work placements abroad.

PARTNERSHIP EUROPE

PARTNERSHIP EUROPE (Ireland) was founded in Cork as a platform for the organisation of mobility projects and work placements, intercultural training and language classes, international youth exchanges and further training courses for teaching staff.

PARTNERSHIP EUROPE coordinates international contacts for educational institutions, regional authorities and chambers of commerce. They offer work placements in the following sectors: tourism, hotels and restaurants, clerical jobs, business administration, photography, mechanical engineering, theatre/cultural management, graphic design, social/community work.

ARBEIT UND LEBEN has been working with Partnership Europe in the field of work placements abroad since 2009.

SEMPER AVANTI

SEMPER AVANTI (Poland) is a regional educational institution, located in Wroclaw, working in the field of international youth education. The institution focuses on the organisation of youth exchanges and European volunteering programmes. As a result of this activity, Semper Avanti has a lot of manifold contacts all over Poland and Europe.

The objectives of the organisation are the advancement of international cooperation and the mutual understanding of young people from all over Europe by granting them the opportunity to gain  personal and occupational experience within the scope of international exchanges. ARBEIT UND LEBEN and Semper Avanti have been cooperating in the implementation of work placements in Wroclaw for several years.

WESTBOURNE ACADEMY (WBA)

WESTBOURNE ACADEMY (WBA) (England) is a language school in Bournemouth with a long tradition and experience in the field of trans-national mobility. It has about 20 employees; every year, about 1,200 students from all five continents attend classes there. The Academy has for long been implementing work placements and job-related project work of various profiles for trainees and young workers from Berlin and Brandenburg.

ARBEIT UND LEBEN has been cooperating with Westbourne Academy for 10 years in the implementation of Leonardo-da-Vinci mobility projects, which, i.a., included first approaches of incorporating training-related intercultural learning units into the work placement programmes.
